Headquartered in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, Guy has lived on two Continents, visited 50 countries, and conducted fund development business in more than a dozen of those.

He is engaged in every aspect of fund raising and integrated fund development practice, including annual fund, major gift, and gift planning, and provides consulting on donor motivations, donor prospecting and qualification, cultivation & solicitation strategy, campaign management, and stewardship practices.  Guy also specializes in providing providing professional personal mentoring.

Consultant for the non profit sector, specializing in fund development.  Guy is recognized internationally as one of the most thoughtful and inspiring leaders in the nonprofit/NGO sector. He Currently Serves as:

  • Principal and Owner of Mallabone & Associates, a fund development consulting agency serving non-profit organizations in Canada and abroad
  • Adjunct Professor and faculty member for the Masters Program in Fundraising and Social Development at the University of Bologna, Italy
  • Chair of Canada Advancing Philanthropy, a national initiative to launch Canada’s first Master’s Degree in Philanthropy
  • Editor for the Canadian Fundraising Textbook
